I'm here, just wondering...

Why my lines and syntax highlighting don't work in edit template? Is that not working in Movable Type 4 Beta 3 or is a bug?

This is not in Beta 3, but will be released in Beta 4.

I just setup MT4 and copied a post from another of my mt 3.2 blogs which included html tags like , etc and when I saved it in the "page" section of MT4 it publishes the actual html tags and does not show the styles. Can you only us WSYWYG and it's formatting for the page or can you use embeded html?

I would prefer a Demo installation of MT to try things out instead of static pics and screenshots!

Can we have a Demo please?

I second the call for a demo. It's pretty standard.

Yes, the demo would really help to make a decision. Screenshots are good, but no interactivity.

Thanks for screenshots, i need a blog script for my website blog.
Movabletype seems perfect for my website blog firma (now 1st choice)

We need to integrate the Movabletype Blog script in our site.

Please give URL of few sites using this script.

To know more about Movabletype blog
i.e how to export tags from movable type , how to post comments for movable type. etc

Visit this site :

My web site that deals with renting photo booths uses moveable type
Http://www.photo-booth.biz

Can I turn off or otherwise remove all community features from templates and use everything else in movabletype? Like use it for building up content and managing that? and or is its core advantage over typepad membership abilities? I need better cms capabilities than typepad offers... any thoughts?

thx

DK

Screenshots seem great, could well be switching. Is there a 'Live Demo' for this?

Thanks 'Byrne' for the quick response, I'll check it out now.

Yes, I agree too !.

Looks very nice! I maybe will add a blog to my personal site skandia tour in the future. MovableType is close to be used! (Have to try a live demo before)
- Is it coming?

Hi Fred, there are some live demos on [movabledemo.com](http://movabledemo.com/)

I just downloaded it today, I already had a wordpress website but this one seems a little bit better. I have another CMS made with magento e-commerce you can see here : http://www.website1service.com

Hola.

Pictures seems good also i read heard something about script but i must know is movabletype usable for me,s o can anyone show me a movabletype demo site address ?

Thank you.

looks like no one is really reading the post... everyone keeps on asking for a demo while Anil Dash replied on August 26, 2007 10:49 PM, Byrne Reese replied on March 13, 2008 9:05 PM and Arvind Satyanarayan replied on September 8, 2008 2:38 AM for the demo... this is the first forum i ever come across with the non-observing audience :D

Hi Arvind Satyanarayan

Is it possible to give admin access to the demo?

Thanks

Thanks for the demo.I will try it now.

Have some problems with the demo, it constantly logs me out

iam usign (2-3yr) and loving movabletype because of this two reason
"simple and clean" as you can in screenshots.

I'm a wordpress user bu I'll try also your MT. Thanks for the job!

Just like Marco, I'm primarily a WP users, but I might try MT for my other blogs.

I am seriously impressed by these screenshots. I am trying it out now...

Movable Type is the mass beautiful and user friendly component law outline i have ever seen. I tried almost all CMS platforms many times and Movable Type is something else and its far better than all of them.

I have built up an extensive database of UK
Property investors who all own BTL properties
portfolio’s, who are actively buying and re-financing in this country.

Ok,i will use beta 4.0 instead to nega the bug.

There is no doubt,i like this such screenshots,i will set up a movablet site soon.

Yes you are right, really PHP is a open source and its help we can get free from any forum or web page since it occurs here at this site.
