SearchPrivateTags

This is documentation about a configuration directive, which can be placed within Movable Type’s core configuration file, mt-config.cgi, to customize the behavior of the system.

Boolean value to enable searching of private tags.

By default, mt-search.cgi?tag=Foo will return results with the public tag “Foo” but not the private tag “@Foo”. If SearchPrivateTags is true, both will be returned as results.

Default: 0 (do not search for private tags)
