SMTPServer
This is documentation about a configuration directive, which can be placed within Movable Type’s core configuration file, mt-config.cgi, to customize the behavior of the system.
The address of your SMTP server.
Must be used in comination with MailTransfer if set to “smtp”.

Default value:
SMTPServer localhost
Examples
Specify a different smtp server other than localhost and set MailTransfer to “smtp”:
MailTransfer smtp
SMTPServer smtp.example.com
