The most important aspect when thinking to migrate to movable type is how to port your content, and how to maintain your content URLs (when possible).
Apart from that, you should also think about either reconstructing your project look and feel in movable type or starting from scratch based on a movable type default look and feel, or just starting it from scratch within movable type.
The trickiest part is the content migration.
As a programmer, I've been able to find ways to migrate content from all sort of platforms, where apparently that option wasn't possible.
